Pysanki Class at Lincoln Place

13 Jan

Our community partner, the Lincoln Place Heritage Association, is hosting an event this weekend. This is a great chance to meet our partner, start thinking about public history, and get . . . extra credit!

On Sunday, January 16, the Lincoln Place Heritage Association is holding a Pysanki Class. Pysanki are beautifully decorated eggs traditional to several Eastern European nations. If you want to learn more about them, including how to make them, you should visit the class! It’s from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Lincoln Place Community Center, 822 Niedringhaus Avenue, Granite City, Illinois. If you have any questions, call 618-797-6126. It’s $15.
